Add this Device

ISL Light for Android supports unattended access for Android devices, including smartphones and tablets. Once remote access is configured on an Android device, it will appear under the Computers tab in ISL Light (desktop or mobile app), allowing you to access and manage the Android device at any time.

Note: Full Remote Control is possible with the use of ISL Light Universal Add-on. You can check our guide here to install and enable Universal Add-on.

If your device is from one of the following manufacturers, please use their specific add-on instead (these are downloaded automatically):

LG Devices

Cyrus Devices

Honeywell Devices

Zebra Devices

These manufacturer-specific add-ons ensure the best compatibility and performance.

You have two ways of granting remote access to your device:

Add this device - add this device to your current ISL Online account
Add this device via Code - allows you to add the current device to another ISL Online account by entering a grant access code

Add this Device

Step 1

Login to your ISL Online account.

Step 2

Open the "Menu" button in the upper right corner.

Step 3

Select "Remote access" from the dropdown menu.

Step 4

Select "Add this device".

Step 5

Set your Access password and select "Grant Access".

Step 6

The device should be now visible in your Computer list.

Add this Device via Code

By using a Session Code, you can add your device to a different ISL Online account than the one you are currently logged into on your device. For detailed instructions on how to obtain a Session Code, refer to the following article: Set Unattended Access via Code
