Subdomains

This menu entry includes two options: "Create new subdomain" and "Show deleted" together with a list of existing subdomains (if any) with the following columns:

  • Name (name that was assigned to this subdomain)
  • Enabled (indicates whether the subdomain is enabled or disabled)
  • Default user domain (indicates whether this subdomain is set as a default subdomain for one or more domains)
  • Valid servers ()
  • Custom web page ()
  • Web version specification (indicates whether this subdomain has web version specified on this subdomain)

Show deleted (Restore deleted subdomains)

Clicking on the "Show deleted" option will show the list of deleted subdomains which have not yet been permanently removed. Such subdomains were marked for deletion, for all intents and purposes they are treated as deleted, however there is a grace period during which they can be restored. Select the subdomains you wish to restore and click the "Undelete selected" button to undelete them.

Setting "Keep deleted data available for undelete" controls the length of the grace period and is located under the Deleted data settings section.

Create new subdomain

When you click "Create new subdomain" of you click on an existing customizations name, you are presented with a new page that has three tabs: General, Bulk files and Raw data.

The following options are available under the General tab:

  • Subdomain name (define a name for this subdomain)
  • Enabled (enable or disable subdomain)
  • Default user domain (set this subdomain as a default subdomain for one or more domains)
  • Valid servers (IP or $SERVERID) ()
  • Enable custom web page ()
  • Web version specification (use this setting to implement web page versions per subdomain)

The following options are available under the Bulk files tab:

  • Select (allows you to select the file by checking the tick box)
  • Created by module (shows the name of the module the file is created by)
  • Parent object (shows the server it is located on)
  • File (shows the name of the file)
  • Download (allows you to download the file)
  • Size (shows the size of the file uploaded)
  • On srv. -1 (shows whether the file is shown on the server or not)

NoteThe banner of the setting page shows any ongoing replication processes relating to uploaded bulk files. Two statuses might be shown: Recheck and Receive. Receive means that the files are being copied to the current server (file was either uploaded or is being replicated from another server in the GRID setup) . Recheck means files are being checked for replication status.

The menu under Raw data tab includes a low-level interface for creating a new key, modifying an existing key value or deleting an existing key.

Warning: Please use this menu entry only when instructed to do so by our technical support team. In such situations, you will receive detailed step-by-step instructions. Please use other menus for configuring your ISL Conference Proxy.
