Computers

The Computers page displays all remote computers associated with your account, including those registered by users created under your account. It gives you a central location to manage computers, view key information, and organize them into groups for easier access control.

Key Features:

Search filters

You can use filters to narrow down your selection of computers. You can find all of them listed below:

  • Alias - Filter computers by their alias, selecting ones that start with or do not start with your search string.
  • Computer Name - Filter computers by their computer name, selecting ones that start with or do not start with your search string.
  • Status - Filter computers by online or offline.
  • Computer Group - Filter computers by certain computer groups, included or not included.
  • Computer Owner - Filter computers by their owner, included or not included.
  • Shares - Filter computer by who they're shared with, included or not included.
  • Tags - Filter computers by their tags, included or not included.
  • Platform - Filter computers by their platform, included or not included.
  • Agent Version - Filter computers by their agent version, included or not included.
  • IP Address - Filter computers by their IP Address.
  • MAC Address - Filter computers by their MAC Address.

Change Group

Move computers between groups to organize them.

Note: If a computer is added to a Computer Group, ownership is automatically transferred to the Group Owner. The group owner can be changed by users with the appropriate permissions (e.g. Group Admin, Computer(s) Manager, or Computer Owner).

Change Owner

Reassign ownership of a computer to another user. By default, the computer's owner is the user that registered the remote computer to the ISL AlwaysOn service and is the computer's administrator.

Share Computer

Share access to a specific computer with users or user groups in your domain. You can also assign connect-only access to limit permissions.

Note: For easier management and advanced permission controls (such as setting access levels or automating sharing for newly added computers), we recommend sharing via Computer Groups instead of individual computers.

Add Tags

Use tags to categorize and filter computers based on your own criteria.

Export Computers

Export computers allows you to export all of the computers to a CSV file. Columns included in the export are:

Alias, Computer name, Status, Last online, Computer group, Computer owner, Shares, Tags, Platform, Agent Version, IP address, MAC address
