ISL Pronto 4.4.1726.5 for Windows, Mac & Linux (2017-09-20)

General Information

On 20th of September 2017 the following was released:

• ISL Pronto 4.4.1726.5 for Linux64 (release_date=2017-09-18, Build=326547da5cf3de5ad3587a009db29f8184388bc3, platform=linux64)

All updates have release date set to 2017-09-18. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

Description

New version of ISL Pronto no longer supports Windows version older than Windows 7.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Add support for Skype for business (FEATURE) [ISLPRONTO-928] More

Description

Added  support for Skype for business to ISL Pronto application. After  clicking on Telephone button users have to type in either of the  following:

• tel: phone_number
• sip: email_address

After  clicking on Call ISL Pronto will automatically open Skype for business  and either use the phone number or the email address.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Expose ISL Light command line arguments in Debug window (FEATURE) [ISLPRONTO-932] More

Description

Added  support for exposing command line arguments which are used when  starting ISL Light from ISL Pronto. The commands are now visible in  Debug window of ISL Pronto application.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Add command line parameters, username and password for ISL Light 4 (FEATURE) [ISLPRONTO-934] More

Description

Added  support for setting username, password and command line arguments when  running ISL Light remote desktop session from ISL Pronto. The settings  are located in ISL Pronto settings under Remote desktop section.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Login dialog 2FA implementation (FEATURE) [ISLPRONTO-1057] More

Description

Two factor authentication support was added to ISL Pronto application. If 2FA is enabled on the account used for connection, user is prompted to enter verification code or use security key, depending on the selected 2FA method. If more 2FA methods are available for the account, users can select among them for second step of login. 2FA dialog will be prompted on computer reboot, if users reconnect and session token has expired, unless "Don't ask again on this device" is chosen. If 2FA is not available on server, the application will downgrade to old, single step login method.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Supporter in invisible chat when autoassign is used (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-866] More

Description

In  certain ISL Conference Proxy GRID scenarios, where auto-assign scheme  was set, supporter was not visible in the chat (Clients list) upon  accepting invitation from initial chat supporter, which had different  filter assigned. This was redesigned, chat is now visible among Clients  list under such circumstances.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Operator offline/online status is not  shown in case the chat only has two operators (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-876] More

Description

Operator  offline/online status was not displayed in the chat title bar, if there  were two operators present in the same chat or operator to operator  conversation. This was redesigned, operator online status is now  correctly displayed in such scenarios.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Upgrading from inprogram updater does not work on Linux (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-890] More

Description

Users on Linux operating system were unable to upgrade ISL Pronto to latest version using the in-program update option. Functionality for upgrading was redesigned, users are now able to upgrade to latest version of ISL Pronto also on Linux operating systems.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Broken notification icon (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-892] More

Description

In  some cases the design of the notification icon of ISL Pronto was broken  on OSX computers. The issue was resolved by using newer version of QT.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Long operator name increases the width of chat tab (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-895] More

Description

If  an operator had a long display name the tab for the chat was also long  and could in some cases hide the other operators joined in chat. The  display name for a user is now limited and the tab should not be  extended due to long name.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Broken layout and inaccessible buttons due to long supporter name (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-896] More

Description

If  operator had a long display name then some of the buttons may be  inaccessible ( transfer, invite, ... ). The display name is now limited  thus the buttons should be accessible.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Low resolution ISL Pronto icon shown in Ubuntu (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-899] More

Description

The  ISL Pronto icon had a low resolution on Linux operating systems. High  resolution icons were added for ISL Pronto application.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Incorrect name for ISL Pronto installer executable (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-900] More

Description

The  installation name of ISL Pronto application was incorrect, it was  displayed as i.exe. The ISL Pronto installation executable was renamed  to ISLProntoInstall.exe.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Incorrect status for chats in Clients list after reconnect (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-905] More

Description

Operators  did not see correct status of ongoing client chats with other  operators, once they performed reconnect. The status for all, except one  ongoing chats in the Clients list, had "Waiting" status, despite other  operators already participated in the chats. When such operators tried  to join the chats with "Waiting" status, they received the notification  that other operators are already in the chat. This was redesigned, chat  status is now displayed correctly when performing reconnects.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - ISL Pronto forces installed ISL Light to use only port 7615 (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-927] More

Description

In  previous versions when starting installed ISL Light from ISL Pronto the  port for connecting to ISL Conference Proxy was forced to only port  7615. This limitation is now removed, ISL Light will not have any forced  port to connect to ISL Conference Proxy.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - DMG does not include installation text on OSX 10.12 (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-939] More

Description

If  users mounted ISL Pronto 2.3.0 DMG package on their computer with OSX  10.12, the DMG package did not shown any text, only the ISL Pronto icon  was displayed. DMG package was redesigned, the text will now also be  displayed on OSX 10.12.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Installation does not work on OSX 10.12 (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-940] More

Description

ISL  Pronto installation couldn't be started on macOS 10.12 ( without latest  ISL Network Start ) due to change of operating system security  behavior. Process of starting ISL Pronto installation was redesigned,  program will now start correctly on macOS.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Login cannot be performed after reconnect if ISL Pronto enabled property has been toggled (DEFECT) [ISLPRONTO-1048] More

Description

Performing a reconnect on ISL Pronto desktop application after toggling ISL Pronto setting "ISL Pronto enabled" on ISL Conference Proxy, caused "Invalid login" error occurrence. This behavior was fixed, reconnect is not wrongfully blocked anymore due to invalid credentials. Users are now automatically logged in after "ISL Pronto enabled" ISL Conference Proxy setting is toggled back to "Yes".
