Upgrading to new version

Please open http://islpronto.islonline.net/users/islpronto to install ISL Pronto.

Server License

Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.

Quick Instructions for users with ISL Conference Proxy 3.1 installed

open web administration of ISL Conference Proxy http://localhost:7615/conf
login using admin account
click Online update link in left navigation
click Apply changes if you have automatic install

Improvements

This is the initial stable release of ISL Pronto for Linux and Mac. As a reference we include a list of major changes/improvements since ISL Pronto 1.0.1dev8. For ISL Pronto module improvements, please check the ISL Pronto 2.0.0 for Windows release info at this link.

Installation procedure fixed More

Description
There were installation issues on linux machines with French locale settings, now it works correctly.

New icon More

Description
ISL Pronto now has a high-resolution icon. Icon in the system tray changes to black & white mode when there is a notification icon on top of it (e.g. connection offline, status other than available, pending event etc.) .

Connection status More

Description
Connection status shows reconnecting icon, when the connection is broken (previously it showed connected status).

Events improvements More

Description
Several new options were added regarding event timeouts and inactivity period.

Supporter is typing notification More

Description
Clients will see a notification icon when supporter is typing an answer. Other supporters will see the text.

Delete chat text More

Description
It is now possible to delete chat text from history (right click on chat and click "Delete chat").

Chat transcripts More

Description
Chat transcripts can now be downloaded as HTML pages.

Keyboard control of chats and focus More

Description
When clicking on chat text area, input box will be selected immediately. Chat tabs can be repositioned with mouse or keyboard (Ctrl+Left, Ctrl+Right, Ctrl+PgUp, Ctrl+PgDown, ...). Chat tab can be closed with Ctrl+W or Ctrl+F4.
