ISL Pronto 2.2.1 for Windows, Mac & Linux (2014-08-25)

General Information

On 25th of August 2014 the following was released:

• ISL Pronto 2.2.1 for Windows (release_date=2014-08-22, Revision=35880, platform=win32, os_version=0x05000000-0x7fffffff)
• ISL Pronto 2.2.1 for Macintosh (release_date=2014-08-22, Revision=35880, platform=mac, os_version=0x0a0600-0x0affff)
• ISL Pronto 2.2.1 for Linux (release_date=2014-08-22, Revision=35880, platform=linux)
• ISL Pronto 2.2.1 for Linux64 (release_date=2014-08-22, revision=35880, platform=linux64)

All updates have release date set to 2014-08-22. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Add the possibility of changing supporter status from outside of ISL Pronto client [ISLPRONTO-219] More

Description

Support for changing own status from outside of ISL Pronto application was added. Currently this feature is only supported on Windows platform.

To change the status user has to run the following command from command line:

islpronto.exe status [offline | unavailable | busy | available]

Example: islpronto.exe status busy - This will change current status to busy.

Defect fixes

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Sound notifications not working on Mac OS X [ISLPRONTO-220] More

Description

ISL Pronto did not produce sound notifications on Mac OS when clients were waiting for supporters. The issue was with the old sound library, which was replaced with a new one. Sound notifications should now be working correctly.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - ISL Pronto 2.2.0 connection will fail after disabled devices or unsuccessfull connect [ISLPRONTO-222] More

Description

Users may have experienced ISL Pronto being stuck in connecting phase. The issue was in timing of conditions. Connecting to server functionality was redesigned, users should no longer get stuck in connecting phase.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Status not changed to unavailable if inactive  [ISLPRONTO-224] More

Description

Status of supporter did not change to unavailable after user inactivity on Linux and Mac OS. Inactivity checker for Linux and Mac OS was added to application. In case the user is inactive for the period of time set in ISL Pronto settings, his user status will automatically become unavailable.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - When using monitors of different resolutions notifications are shown in the middle of the screen [ISLPRONTO-232] More

Description

Users may have seen ISL Pronto notification showing up in the middle of the screen. This happened when ISL Pronto was running and user plugged in a secondary monitor with higher resolution and made it primary. Showing notification was redesigned, notification are now forced to be displayed at the bottom right corner.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Change z-index for the first time launch of ISL Pronto connection dialogs [ISLPRONTO-239] More

Description

When ISL Pronto is installed and first launched two dialogs appeared behind the main GUI of ISL Pronto. Due to dialogs being open, the main GUI did not allow clicks on buttons. The index of dialogs was reordered, all dialogs should appear in front of ISL Pronto application.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Send invitation by email freezes ISL Pronto when mail client is not correctly installed [ISLPRONTO-244] More

Description

Users may have experienced freeze of ISL Pronto application when sending email chat invitation and the email client on users computer is corrupted. ISL Pronto now passes sending mail functionality to external executable and ISL Pronto should no longer freeze when sending email for the chat invitation.

ISL Pronto - Desktop - Text does not change when changing language - Chating with:  [ISLPRONTO-248] More

Description

Users may have experienced untranslated string after changing language. The missing string was found in the client list - "Chatting with". The string is now correctly translated also on language change.

The defect was fixed.
