On 17th of February the following was released:

• ISL AlwaysOn 4.4.2116.50 for Linux (release_date=2022-02-14, build=2b928974b5f2d7ce6f08041e72552832a6b19e96, platform=linux64, os_version=0x0206200000020c00-0xffffffffffffffff)

All updates have release date set to 2022-02-14. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

Improvements

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Better explain global passwords in settings (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-1689] More

Description

In order to better explain different password options the texts were changed in different dialogs ( Grant access dialog, Change password dialog, Authentication section in settings, Per-User authentication in settings and Lock settings ).
"Global password" was renamed to "Main access password"
"This remote user password" was renamed to "Connection access password"
"Protect computer configuration with global password" settings was changed to "Lock settings with the main access password"
"Enable one time password(s)" setting was changed to "One time passwords"

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Improve qtutils enter password dialog (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-1717] More

Description

Added support in ISL AlwaysOn enter password API to control displaying of icon and changing displayed text.

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Change end session dialog message and buttons (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-1653] More

Description

The text in the question dialog (for the ending of a session from the ISL AlwaysOn computer) was changed. Yes and No buttons were renamed to End and Cancel. Question mark icon is now hidden.

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Increase timeout on proxy process start on macOS (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-1716] More

Description

In some cases proxy process executable was not started in the time frame that was set. The executable thus timed out which resulted in inability to connect to the target computer. The limit for starting the executable was raised and connection should get established.

The defect was fixed.

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Linux check for empty display list (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-1718] More

Description

In case an operator was connecting to a Linux ISL AlwaysOn computer that did not have a monitor attached to the computer, the screen sharing crashed. The issue was in incorrect handling of of empty display list. The functionality was redesigned, the screen sharing will no longer crash.

The defect was fixed.
