ISL AlwaysOn 2.2.5 for Windows and Mac (2015-10-14)

 

General Information

On 14th of October the following was released:

  • ISL AlwaysOn 2.2.5 for Windows (release_date=2015-02-02, revision=42642, platform=win32,os_version=0x5010000-0x7fffffff)
  • ISL AlwaysOn 2.2.5 for Macintosh (release_date=2015-02-02, revision=42642, platform=mac,os_version=0x0a0600-0x0affff)

All updates have release date set to 2015-02-02. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Disable start menu option with OEM customization (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-882] More

Description

Added support for disabling start menu entry of ISL AlwaysOn. To disable start menu the following command line argument has to be set in ISL AlwaysOn installer defaults Windows:

- SkipStartMenu=true

This parameter will only work if also the following parameters are defined:

- DefaultDirName

- AppName

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop Mac - Unable to connect to a newly added OS X 10.11 machine (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-889] More

Description

Users were unable to connect to ISL AlwaysOn machine in case ISL AlwaysOn was installed for the first time on OSX 10.11 machine. The issue was that daemons on OSX did not correctly start, thus ISL AlwaysOn monitor process was not started. User had to restart computer in order for user to connect to that machine. Installation was redesigned, daemons should be now started correctly after installing ISL AlwaysOn for the first time on OSX 10.11 machine. Users should be able to connect to that machine normally.

The defect was fixed.

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Use ping interval setting from module in order to reduce resource usage (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-890] More

Description

ISL AlwaysOn sends a ping packet to ISL Conference Proxy server in order to maintain online status every 30 seconds, there were additional packets sent every 5 seconds which were not needed. Additional packet sending was removed, packets are now appended to ping packet, which should result in less network traffic.

The defect was fixed.
