General Information
On 8th of April the following was released:
- ISL AlwaysOn 2.2.7 for Windows (release_date=2015-02-02, revision=45883, platform=win32,os_version=0x5010000-0x7fffffff)
- ISL AlwaysOn 2.2.7 for Macintosh (release_date=2015-02-02, revision=45883, platform=mac,os_version=0x0a0600-0x0affff)
All updates have release date set to 2015-02-02. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

DescriptionUpdated internal ISSC library which brings the following improvements:
- improved keyboard handling
- whiteboard support
- support for black screen

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Remote connection should be expanded with consent authentication type (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-965] More
DescriptionAdded support for connecting to remote ISL AlwaysOn machine without ISL AlwaysOn access password. In order to enable this functionality user needs to open ISL AlwaysOn settings, go to Desktop Sharing and select Allow computer access also with local user consent and no access password. Once this is enabled users needs to add command line options to send consent message to the remote user.
Example:
--connect "coid" --consent-message "user specified message"
--connect-uid "uid" --consent-message "user specified message"
--connect-desc "description of computer" --consent-message "user specified message"
Users are now also able to change incoming connection notification text. Users will need to create a new customization and change Custom.ini:

DescriptionWhen disconnect procedure was called on remote ISL AlwaysOn computer, that computer did not return any response for the disconnect procedure. Feedback on disconnect procedure was added.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - add custom user message to be added to notify message (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-997] More
DescriptionAdded support for adding additional message to notify dialog which is shown when user tries to connect to ISL AlwaysOn machine. In order to see the message remote ISL AlwaysOn computer must have incoming connection notifications enabled and operators need to connect using the following cmd line parameters:

ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - ISL AlwaysOn 2.2.2 fast start does not resume file transfer (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-590] More
DescriptionIn case users paused and then continued file transfer when connected to remote computer running ISL AlwaysOn, users did not receive the file. The issue was that ISL AlwaysOn did not correctly handle continue file transfer. File transfer functionality was redesigned, users will now receive files correctly even if file transfer was paused and then continued.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Local user active is not detected in VMware Horizon View (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-607] More
DescriptionUsers may have experienced user control switching back and forth between local user and remote user when connected to a remote computer with VMware Agent installed on their system. The issue only happened when remote user moved the mouse for more then 50 pixels from original position. In that case the remote user lost control , as the mouse move event was injected as it was done locally. This events are now processed differently, control switching should no longer happen.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Grant access failing (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-901] More
DescriptionIn some cases during installation of ISL AlwaysOn, user connection grant was not added. Users were therefore unable to connect to that computer. The issue was in timing, user closed dialog before user grant procedure was sucesfully finished. Adding user grant was redesigned, users are now unable to close the dialog during grant which should resolve the issue of ISL AlwaysOn correctly installed but user not added correctly.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Context menu Send To ISL AlwaysOn public folder is not uninstalled on Windows (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-925] More
DescriptionThere was no options for users to remove Send to -> ISL AlwaysOn public folder when right clicking on a file or a folder. This option is now automatically removed if user installs ISL AlwaysOn with customization which changes the name of the application ( from ISL AlwaysOn to any other name ).
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - XMLMSG <disconnect> command does not work in ISL AlwaysOn ISL Light Fast 2.2.6 (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-979] More
DescriptionSending XMLMSG command to stop session did not work if message element was not defined. Support for XMLMSG command was redesigned, session will be stopped even if message element is missing.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Sending updates due to constantly changing cursor with ISL Light Fast on OSX (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-983] More
DescriptionWhen connected to OS X machine, the machine was always streaming updates to connected operator even though there were no changes. The issue was that mouse was constantly changing and sending updates. This resulted in higher network usage along with reduced performance. Mouse functionality was redesigned, moving the mouse will no longer stream desktop changes to operator, only the change of mouse coordinates.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Status is writing to wrong file on OSX (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-984] More
DescriptionUsers may have found multiple files which names are numbers ( current time written in unix time ) located on root directory. The issue was in incorrectly defined path for storing the file. Files on root directory should not be created anymore, it should only update file called light_deamon.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - Cursor changes are not detected on Windows desktop duplication (win8 and up) (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-1009] More
DescriptionWhen viewing remote desktop mouse cursor did not change to the one on remote desktop in case there was no additional graphical update. Cursor change was redesigned, cursor will change even if there is no graphical update.
The defect was fixed.
ISL AlwaysOn - Desktop - GUI does not show whole text on change password on OSX (DEFECT) [ISLALWAYSON-1011] More
DescriptionDialog for changing ISL AlwaysOn global access password was too small on OSX and users were unable to read the whole text. Dialog was redesigned and now shows whole text.
The defect was fixed.
