ISL Light 4.1.2 for Android (2016-11-10)

On 10th of November the following was released:

• ISL Light 4.1.2 for Android (release_date=2016-11-10, build=68f5033bd794a16fb2df9fff7972bcc5769b68db, platform=Android, os_version=4.0.3-FFF) for Android.

Upgrading to new version

Hosted service users please check Upgrading Hosted Service for iOS or Android .

Server license users please check Upgrading Server License for iOS or Android .

ISL Light 4.1.2 for Android is available in Google Play Store and it has also a corresponding program file (isl_light_4_1_2_android_201611101147_6e4b1cf6.program) which adds information about customizations to ISL Conference Proxy. Server License users need to use Online update to get the file.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Remove ActionBarSherlock library since it's no longer needed (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-4156] More

Description

ISL Light no longer uses ActionBarSherlock library. Action bar of ISL Light application is now using native implementation. Some of the icons such as icon for search, icon for adding ISL AlwaysOn computer and icon for refreshing list of ISL AlwaysOn computers were updated.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Simplify/improve customization images process (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-4169] More

Description

Customization procedure for images has been changed with aim to simplify and improve the process. Users are now able to customize the images displayed inside the application, such as Company logo, Keyvisual element, Application notification icon and Application icon. iOS version features only Keyvisual and Application icon, while Android version uses all of them. The following images are now replaceable, although it is not necessary to replace all of them.
- keyvisual.png                    412 x 412 (used on iOS/Android)
- app_icon.png                     192 x 192 (used on iOS/Android)
- company_logo.png                  75 x 18  (used on Android)
- app_icon_notification_white.png   24 x 24  (used on Android)

It is also possible to specify platform localization, which will be used instead of common image.
Example:
common icon (used both by iOS and Android): keyvisual.png
platform localized icon: keyvisual_ios.png or keyvisual_android.png

The ZIP file containing images has to be uploaded to ISL Conference Proxy in customization section under ISL Light custom images (ZIP).

Second level of information on About screen was replaced with the following items:

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Ease up access in about screen to see detailed version information (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3887] More

Description

To obtain detailed information about installed version of the ISL Light application, users had to click on version number which was hard to click. The area which user can click was expended so users can now click on either application name or version to obtained detailed information about the version installed.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Screen sharing crashes when viewer is iOS device and quality is set to best quality (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-4149] More

Description

ISL Light for Android application crashed if it was connected to iOS device and color depth was set to Best Quality. After creating a screenshot on Android device the ISL Light application on Android device crashed. Functionality for sending device screen was redesigned and should no longer crash even if best quality color depth mode is selected.

The defect was fixed.
