Description

ISL Light for Android now requires Android version 4.0.3 or newer.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Incorrect layout when connecting to mobile device (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2346] More

Description

In some cases when users connected to a mobile device ( mobile phone or a tablet ) the layout of the remote device was incorrect. Streaming of Android device was redesigned, users should now see the layout of the remote device correctly.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Missing translations (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3202] More

Description

Users may have found some untranslated texts in ISL Light application. Texts are now translated to the selected language.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Unable to bind to Add-On application service on Android 5.x devices (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3334] More

Description

ISL Light 3.0.0 for Android was unable to bind to add-on application service due to intent error because it was not explicit. This requirement was added in Android 5. Intent was modified to be explicit.

This defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - ISL Light application was not able to be installed after installing ISL Light Add-on (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3335] More

Description

ISL Light and ISL Light Add-On could not be installed side-by-side because installation resulted in error: INSTALL_FAILED_DUPLICATE_PERMISSION. This was fixed by declaring custom permission: "com.islonline.isllight.mobile.android.permissions.USE_ADDON" only in Add-On application.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Screen sharing fails to start when both streamer and viewer is running on mobile platform (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3698] More

Description

If users tried to connect from own Android device to remote Android device, the desktop streaming did not start. The issue was in initialization of the desktop streaming. Initialization was redesigned, users are now able to view remote device screen also when connecting from Android device.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - On Samsung devices mouse click coordinates are not correct according to screen image on scaled screens (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3701] More

Description

If user connected to an Android device which has high resolution screen, then due to scaling of the screen, mouse coordinates that were sent from operator side were not on correct location on remote device. Mouse handling on scaled screens was redesigned and mouse coordinates from operator side should match coordinates on client side.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - ISL Light is writing logfile to external sdcard root instead of data dir assigned to application (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3705] More

Description

Log file of ISL Light application was located on root path of external sdcard. Saving log file was redesigned and is now saved in the data directory of the application.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Failed to detect root on a rooted device (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3707] More

Description

In some cases ISL Light application did not manage to detect if the device is rooted. Checking for rooted device was redesigned and should now correctly check for it.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Wrong hardware MAC address retrieval (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3817] More

Description

ISL Light did not correctly obtain hardware MAC address of the Android device. Obtaining the address was redesigned and now obtains it correctly.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Wrong AON version shown in Computer info (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3888] More

Description

When checking remote computer ISL AlwaysOn version inside the ISL Light application, the version shown was incorrect. Computer information functionality was redesigned and now shows the correct version of ISL AlwaysOn on remote computer.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Reduce logging of ISL Light application (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3895] More

Description

ISL Light application was logging events which are not needed for debugging purposes. Logging was redesigned, excessive logs were removed.

Internal Samsung Knox library was updated to version 5.7

ISL Light - Mobile Android - Failed to retrieve image on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge device (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3898] More

Description

Users may have experienced issue with viewing remote screen when connected to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Grabbing of the device screen was redesigned and should now display remote screen also when connected to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The defect was fixed.
