ISL Light 4.1.2 for iOS (2016-10-31)

On 31th of October the following was released:

• ISL Light 4.1.2 for iOS (build date=2016-10-28, build=d354401be938b14570070edfbf3bb36dd75d1da4, Platform=iOS).

ISL Light 4.1.2 for iOS is available in App Store and it has also a corresponding program file (isl_light_4_1_2_ios_201610280852_7ccbecfd.program) which adds information about customizations to ISL Conference Proxy. Server License users need to use Online update to get the file.

ISL Light - Mobile iOS - Simplify/improve customization images process (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-4168] More

Description

Customization procedure for images has been changed with aim to simplify and improve the process. Users are now able to customize the images displayed inside the application, such as Company logo, Keyvisual element, Application notification icon and Application icon. iOS version features only Keyvisual and Application icon, while Android version uses all of them. The following images are now replaceable, although it is not necessary to replace all of them.
- keyvisual.png                    412 x 412 (used on iOS/Android)
- app_icon.png                     192 x 192 (used on iOS/Android)
- company_logo.png                  75 x 18  (used on Android)
- app_icon_notification_white.png   24 x 24  (used on Android)

It is also possible to specify platform localization, which will be used instead of common image.
Example:
common icon (used both by iOS and Android): keyvisual.png
platform localized icon: keyvisual_ios.png or keyvisual_android.png

The ZIP file containing images has to be uploaded to ISL Conference Proxy in customization section under ISL Light custom images (ZIP).

ISL Light - Mobile iOS - Unify Computer icons and Login screen buttons with Android version to provide similar look and feel (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-4174] More

Description

To establish similar look and feel between iOS and Android program versions, some icons and buttons were unified between both versions. iOS version now uses the same icons for computer groups and offline computers as Android version, style matching was also applied to Log In and Sign Up buttons on Log In screen.

ISL Light - Mobile iOS - Disabling introduction video did not remove the entry from the menu (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-4157] More

Description

When ISL Light command line parameter "disable_introduction_video=true" was used as customization option, "Watch Video" entry was not removed from the menu. As we strive towards unification of look and feel between iOS and Android versions, we decided to remove the entry from the menu and leave Introduction video only on Log In screen.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile iOS - Procedure for searching the best server uses only port 7615 (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-4166] More

Description

With Enable HTTP/Enable HTTPS settings switched on, adding an ISL Server with TCP port 7615 disabled or blocked, resulted as a failure in retrieving connection parameters from the server. Enabling both settings did not set the autotransport flags correctly, so set direct TCP port was used both for HTTP and HTTPS tunnel ports. Enabling both options now sets appropriate flags and corresponding autotransport ports (HTTP=80, HTTPS=443).

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile iOS - Missing translation for disconnecting ISL AlwaysOn session (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-4207] More

Description

If user was connected to an ISL AlwaysOn computer for a short period of time, after the session a loader was shown ( Ending ISL AlwaysOn session, please wait... ) which was not translated to the user selected language. The loader text is now translated to the users selected language.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Mobile iOS - Application crashes on email invitation after application was in background and ICP is unreachable (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-4209] More

Description

If application was running in the background for some amount of time (more than 3 minutes), bringing application back to foreground and pressing on "Email Invitation" button produced a crash, if ISL Server was unreachable at that moment.

The defect was fixed.
