ISL Light 4.4.1809.22 for Windows, Linux and macOS (2018-05-23)

General Information

On 23rd of May the following was released:

• ISL Light 4.4.1809.15 for Windows  (release_date=2018-05-22, build=4fe57b08ccfc3cf36d0b7b093ad322ee9d4ef8b8, platform=win32,os_version=0x06010000-0x7fffffff)
• ISL Light 4.4.1809.15 for Mac (release_date=2018-05-22, build=4fe57b08ccfc3cf36d0b7b093ad322ee9d4ef8b8, platform=mac, os_version=0x0a0800-0x0affff)
• ISL Light 4.4.1809.15 for Linux (release_date=2018-05-22, build=4fe57b08ccfc3cf36d0b7b093ad322ee9d4ef8b8, platform=linux64)

All updates have release date set to 2018-05-22. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

Improvements

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Set unattended access to groups (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-3199] More

Description

Users are now able to send email invitation with granting computer access to user group. In order to add computer directly to a group, users have to click on the "+" button and then click on "Set Unattended Access". After the dialog opens, users can select to which group to add the computer to from the "Add to group" dropdown menu.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Update Signup to GDPR requirements (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-5015] More

Description

A checkbox for agreeing to Terms of service and Privacy policy was added to ISL Light signup.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Allow selection between multiple grids with same grid_id (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-5018] More

Description

Users may have multiple servers with the same grid_id identification but different IPs of server or different installation name. In previous versions users were unable to select these grids (only one was shown). This selection is now allowed.

Default grid setting was also redesigned, when users install ISL Light from a server, that server will be set as the default grid. In previous version the default grid remained the same ( first installation set the default grid setting ).

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Switch to login dialog only when login webapi is not running (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-4992] More

Description

In some cases when the first transport failed during login, users may have experienced inability to log in ( Logout from previous session first error was shown ). The issue was in internal switch between 1FA and 2FA authentication. Login functionality was redesigned, users should no longer receive the error and be logged in normally.

The defect was fixed.
