Server License

Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.

Quick Instructions for users with ISL Conference Proxy 3.1 installed

1. open web administration of ISL Conference Proxy http://localhost:7615/conf
2. login using admin account
3. click Online update link in left navigation
4. click Apply changes if you have automatic install

[ISLLIGHT-73] - ISL Light - small footprint of GUI for ISL AlwaysOn More

Description

ISL Light now supports smaller GUI for integration with ISL AlwaysOn. New GUI just shows connections status. It also supports "lock out" option, so that remote user can lock local keyboard and mouse.

Added command line arguments:

- in main module:

smallfootprint ... the option causes small ISL Light window to be show only as small notification pane where status of connection, desktop sharing and desktop control is displayed. Chats are not show in this mode.

-in desktop module:

hidetopbar ... the option hides top bar.

disablelocal ... this option will cause that only remote user has control over the desktop. Local user can only observe and it gets gack control only when the session has ended or the connection is broken.

leavebackground ... the option doesnt remove desktop background while streaming desktop.

Example of command line options to be used in small footprint mode:

--on-connect desktop?leavebackground=true&hidetopbar=true&disablelocal=true --on-load main?smallfootprint=true

Description

ISL Light could not use Lotus Notes as email client to send invitation by email. With some email clients there were problems when transferring UTF-8 characters - especially Japanese characters.

ISL Light was tested on following email clients:

   * MS Outlook 2003

   * MS Outlook 2007

   * MS Outlook 2010

   * Mozzila Thunderbird 3.0

   * Lotus Notex

   * Windows Mail

   * Microsoft Outlook Express

Description

When ISL Light Desk aquired code, user could not right click tools - because it always showed send by email option.

[ISLLIGHT-105] - ISL Light - audio plugin crashes on Windows XP More

Description

Audio plugin causes crash of ISL Light on Windows XP with latest updates. It can also cause audio system on Windows 7 to stop working.

Resolved using DirectSound and ported implementation of ISL Groop.
