ISL Light Desktop plugin for Windows 1.4.1 (2013-04-02)

 

General Information

On 2nd of April we have released Windows version of :

  • ISL Desktop plugin 1.4.1 for Windows (revision=27889, release_date=2013-03-27, platform=win32)

All updates have release date set to 2013-03-27. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

Upgrading to new version

This is server side update so hosted service users do not need to do anything.

Improvements

New features

ISL Light - Desktop win - add support to change pointer bitmap [ISLLIGHT-380] More

Description

Users are able to change the pointer image of the whiteboard tools. In order to change the pointer image client would need to modify or create a new customization.

ISL Light - Desktop Win - Two way whiteboard [ISLLIGHT-405] More

Description

Since now only operators that were viewing remote desktop were able to draw on the client monitors using whiteboard tools. With the new feature clients can also draw on their own monitor and the marking are transferred to the operator remote desktop view.

The client has to do the following in order to start using whiteboards tools when streaming their desktop:

1. Mouse right click on grant/revoke control button

2. Choose either free pen or pointer tool

3. To stop whiteboard tools the client has to click on the sharing bar of ISL Light.

Defect fixes

ISL Light - Desktop Win - whiteboard on second display does not work [ISLLIGHT-24] More

Description

When users were connected to a computer that has two monitors they were unable to draw on the second display. The markings were not visible on the client side. The whiteboard drawing mechanism was fixed, whiteboard is now supported also on multiple monitors.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop Win - back screen does not work on win8 [ISLLIGHT-408] More

Description

Blackscreen functionality is currently unavailable on windows 8 and windows 2012.
