All updates have release date set to 2014-12-11. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.
Important: ISL Light 4.0.1 requires ISL Conference Proxy 4.0.4 or greater.

DescriptionISL Light 4.0 sent inappropriate program agent string to ISL Conference Proxy. Sending program agent string was redesigned, correct version of program is now sent to ISL Conference Proxy. ISL Light will send following values:

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Add shortcuts CTRL+ESC and SHIFT+ALT+F to enter full screen (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-1968] More
DescriptionA new short-cut was added to the ISL Light program. When pressing SHIFT + ALT + F you will enter/exit full screen mode. On Windows we added also support for CTRL+ESC which is same shortcut as in ISL Light 3.
Reasoning behind unnatural shortcut comparred to standard shortcuts for full screen (like F11, CMD+F, ALT+ENTER, ...): We are producing remote desktop suftware, so you will use ISL Light to connect to remote computer where you will manage some standard software like Forefox, Media player, ... It is better to avoid standard shortcuts as user would trigger some action in ISL Light unwillingly trying to achieve action on remote software (example ... using ISL Light in full screen ad then trying maxmimize firefox with F11 and you would drop out of full screen in ISL Light).
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Clipboard disable is missing in session window tools menu (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-1972] More
DescriptionAdded support for disabling clipboard sharing while in session. In order to disable clipboard sharing client or supporter has to click on Tools -> Clipboard -> Disable.

DescriptionUsers may have experienced some text being untranslated inside ISL Light program. All reports of missing translations were checked and fixed, users should no longer see those text untranslated.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Detailed report is not working on mac and windows (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-1941] More
DescriptionIn some cases users were unable to view detailed report of remote computer. The issue was that on Mac computers there were no registered programs for opening .nfo files ( sent from Windows machine). Detailed report functionality was redesigned, in case mac computer is requesting detailed report of remote computer then .txt file will be sent instead of .nfo.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Dashboard needs to be restarted in order for the setting show first session as to take affect (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-1952] More
DescriptionIf users changed setting for showing first session, the change required restart of the program. Settings were redesigned, if user changes setting for showing first session, the change will be visible without restarting ISL Light program.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - ISL Light 4 will not be able to minimize when you revert viewing to sharing (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-1957] More
DescriptionIn some occurrences if user switched from viewing remote screen to showing own screen the window of the session got stretched over the desktop preventing user the option to minimize, maximize or close the window. Switching between showing and viewing desktop was redesigned, window should no longer stretch over desktop.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Whiteboard erase timeout is not sent to the other side (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-1980] More
DescriptionChanging setting for automatic erasing of whiteboard marking was not sent to the remote side, remote side removed whiteboard marking after 10 seconds. Whiteboard eraser settings were redesigned, if eraser settings are changed, the change is also sent to client side, both sides now have synced time for removing whiteboard markings.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - mouse cursor image can become corrupted (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-1996] More
DescriptionIf users connected from Mac computer to Windows computer and 1:1 zoom ration was selected and mouse cursor was rapidly changed then mouse cursor image got corrupted. Mouse cursor implementation was redesigned, cursor image should no longer get corrupted.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - mouse cursor image has wrong colors when remote is mac and local is windows (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2002] More
DescriptionUsers may have experienced wrong colors of mouse cursor image ( blue and red color were swapped ) if they connected from Mac to Windows machine. Mouse cursor image was redesigned, colors of the mouse cursor are now shown correctly.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - When requesting desktop sharing - Join message box should have allow control checked (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2005] More
DescriptionJoin window in ISL Light 4 did not have Allow desktop control checkbox checked by default. Allow desktop control checkbox is now checked by default.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Remove support for tablet computers (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2008] More
DescriptionISL Light was working unreliably on tablet computers. ISL Light no longer supports tablet computers.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Fix the text in system info to display the info more properly (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2021] More
DescriptionText position inside System information of remote computer was positioned incorrectly. System information placeholders were redesigned, the text position is now shown in the correct location.

ISL Light - Desktop - v4 - Incorrect starting time in session details (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2022] More
DescriptionSession starting time was not displayed correctly in session details screen and was different from session starting time shown on ISL Conference Proxy. The issue was in conversion between unix timestamp and human readable time.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Fix search field styling (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2025] More
DescriptionSearch field style was redesigned. Color of search text is now black instead of gray, floating label above search textfield was removed.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Flatten, align and replace icons in Join window toolbar buttons (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2029] More
DescriptionWhen resizing Join window the button were not correctly aligned ( position of the buttons was not on the right, but across the whole expanded space ). Resizing join window was redesigned, if user expands the window, the button will be still placed on the right. Buttons were also redesigned, they now have flattened design.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Chat messages styling (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2031] More
DescriptionChat messages had user identification ( Desk or Client ) and time of message shown under the entered text. Chat messages were redesigned, time of message and user identification are now shown above entered text.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Once control was revoked, grant control question will be asked everytime (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2037] More
DescriptionIf supporter was viewing remote desktop and stopped viewing it then requested desktop sharing again, the remote user got window for confirming desktop sharing even though it was never declined on client side. Desktop sharing requests were redesigned, if operator stopped viewing and requested viewing of remote desktop again, streaming of desktop on client side will start automatically.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Changing session info on module web pages does not affect ISL Light 4 (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2043] More
DescriptionIf users changed session information on ISL Light web page then those changes were not visible inside ISL Light program. Session information was redesigned, changes on web pages will also affect session information inside ISL Light program.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Join screen autodetecting session code should not display error (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2049] More
DescriptionUsers who were entering session code in join screen may have received incorrect session code error until the full code was entered. Checking for session code was redesigned, error will be only shown if user clicks on Join button and the session code is invalid. If user enters the correct session code it will automatically populate join window with supporter information.

ISL Light - Desktop - resolve QML issues in qml files for reading undefined values which were visible in log files (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2053] More
DescriptionUsers who opened log file may have seen some Javascript errors regarding undefined properties in viewer.qml. All the errors are now properly handled and should not be shown in log file.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Language does completely not change in ISL light 4 dashboard (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2062] More
DescriptionUsers on Windows machines who switched language may have noticed title of window not being translated. Language changing functionality was redesigned, title is now correctly translated.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - escape key does not dismiss whiteboard on Mac (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2100] More
DescriptionIf users on mac computers were streaming own desktop and used local whiteboard tools then users were unable to dismiss them using ESC key. Canceling local whiteboard was redesigned, pressing ESC will now dismiss local whiteboard.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Login triggered multiple login attempts (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2112] More
DescriptionIf users pressed Enter when trying to log in or sign up, this resulted in 2 calls for login and signup instead of 1. Using keyboard to login or signup was redesigned, clicking enter will no longer trigger 2 calls.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Signup will not show internal error from external webapi (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2113] More
DescriptionIf users tried to sign up and the call failed with internal server error, that error was not displayed inside ISL Light. Signup functionality was redesigned, in case there is an error with the call ISL Light will show the error.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Expand computer description when expanding ISL Light ( currently status expands ) (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2117] More
DescriptionUsers with long computer names were unable to see them whole in ISL Light dashboard because when expanding ISL Light window the status column was resized instead of computer name. Showing computers on dashboard was redesigned, when ISL Light window is expended computer name column will also expand. Users will now see whole computer name.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Improve user experience for signup procedure (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2119] More
DescriptionWhen users signed up inside ISL Light, the program did not redirect them to login window. Sign up functionality was redesigned, when user signs up, it will firstly show that the sign up was successful and then after clicking continue it will automatically log in the user with the credentials entered at sign up.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - local user active is not detected in (VMware Horizon View) (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2122] More
DescriptionUsers may have experienced user control switching back and forth between local user and remote user when connected to a remote computer with VMware Agent installed on their system. The issue only happened when remote user moved the mouse for more then 50 pixels from original position. In that case the remote user lost control , as the mouse move event was injected as it was done locally. This events are now processed differently, control switching should no longer happen.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Long session description will break layout (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2128] More
DescriptionLong session descriptions or long email addresses broke layout in session window. Layout was redesigned, in case the text is too long to be displayed correctly, the text gets truncated.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - local user active is not detected in (VMware Horizon View) (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2153] More
DescriptionUsers may have experienced some of the following issues with keyboard when typing on remote computer:
- When connected with ISL Light Client 3.5 users were unable to enter special characters
- When connected with client on mac computer dead keys were not working correctly
- When connected with a client that had caps lock enabled all sent characters were in uppercase
- When connected with a client on mac and local caps lock was enabled, users were unable to send accented characters
Whole support for keyboard was redesigned and improved, above issues should no longer exist.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Increase autotransport timeout (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2154] More
DescriptionUsers with a connection that took longer then 7 seconds to establish a connection with the server were unable to connect due to connect timeout. Timeout was raised from 7 seconds to 20 seconds. Users with this kind of connections should now be able to connect without issues.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - control&active status in view is wrong (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2164] More
DescriptionIf operator was connected to a remote machine and remote user used ISL Light Client 3.5 to connect, then revoked controlling of machine, the control active status was not working correctly for the operator. Status was showing that operator had control even though controling of remote computer was disabled. Showing status of remote control was redesigned, in case client revokes control it will correctly show the control status.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Light - Desktop v4 - plugin installation error message (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2174] More
DescriptionUsers may have experienced an error when connecting to machines where ISL Light Client was used ( versions before 4.0 ). In that case plugin installation error appeared due to outdated plugin on remote end. Error should no longer appear to users if there are connecting to machines with older clients.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - pressing refresh screen when sharing own screen will result in message dialog with error message (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2201] More
DescriptionUsers who were showing their own desktop and pressed refresh view window received an error : Desktop plugin event failed to execute. Button for refreshing view window was removed, button will be only shown when viewing remote desktop.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Whiteboard does not draw to surface automatically when revoking control (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2206] More
DescriptionOperators viewing remote desktop could not start drawing using whiteboard tools if remote client revoked control. Operators had to click on the whiteboard tool in order to start drawing. Revoking controls was redesigned, operators will automatically be able to draw on remote desktop without the need to click on whiteboard tool after client has revoked control.

ISL Light - Desktop v4 - Entering text in EOS will expand it out of the text field (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2208] More
DescriptionIf users entered a long text in the end of session dialog, the text did not break into new line but instead it was shown outside of the designated box. Dialogs were redesigned, the text does no longer go beyond designated box.
