ISL Light 3.5.6 for Windows (2015-02-05)

General Information

On 5th of February the following was released:

• ISL Light Desk 3.5.6 for Windows (release_date=2015-02-03, revision=38846, platform=win32,os_version=0x5000000-0x7fffffff)
• ISL Light Client 3.5.6 for Windows (release_date=2015-02-03, revision=38846, platform=win32,os_version=0x5000000-0x7fffffff)

All updates have release date set to 2015-02-03. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

ISL Light 3.5.6 uses Libs1

Description

In previous versions Autotransport connect options were located in multiple locations in registry. Connect options are now generalized, global connect options are located in :

"HKLM\ISL Online\AutoTransport\Connect Options"

In addition to global connection options each product now also has its own connect options which overrides the globally defined ones. Products connect options are located in:

"HKCU\ISL Online[product]\Connect Options"

ISL Light - Desktop Win v3 - Use hardcoded certs (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-2251] More

Description

Old version ISL Light program automatically obtained certificates when starting a connection. This part was redesigned, ISL Light program now already includes certificates when it's downloaded.

ISL Light - Desktop Win v3 - Increase autotransport timeout (DEFECT)  [ISLLIGHT-1477] More

Description

Users with a connection that took longer then 7 seconds to establish a connection with the server were unable to connect due to connect timeout. Timeout was raised from 7 seconds to 20 seconds. Users with this kind of connections should now be able to connect without issues.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop Win v3 - Resuming paused session does not clean all the structures (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-2252] More

Description

Users may have experienced VNC.dll error appearing after restarting remote computer or switching system account on remote computer. The issue was that the messages from previous desktop session were not correctly removed on viewer side . The restart of desktop session was redesigned and the messages are properly cleaned before starting a new desktop session.

The defect was fixed.
