General Information

On 19th of May the following was released:

• ISL Light Desk 4.0.3 for Windows (release_date=2016-05-18, revision=46739, platform=win32,os_version=0x5010000-0x7fffffff)
• ISL Light Client 4.0.3 for Windows (release_date=2016-05-18, revision=46739, platform=win32,os_version=0x5010000-0x7fffffff)
• Desktop Control plugin 1.4.13 for Windows (release_date=2016-05-18,revision=46739,platform=win32)
• Remote Printing plugin 1.4.1 for Windows (release_date=2016-05-18,revision=46739,platform=win32)

All updates have release date set to 2016-05-18. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Add the possibility to disable session transfer (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-2918] More

Description

Added support for removing session transfer entry. To enable this functionality user have to create a customization on ISL Conference Proxy and uncheck the following value:

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Add support to skip elevation to admin mode when trying to share desktop (FEATURE) [ISLLIGHT-3694] More

Description

Added support for skipping elevation to admin mode when starting desktop sharing where user is administrator on Windows machine. Users have to specify the following command line argument to skip elevation:

--on-connect "desktop?skip_uac=true"

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Remote printing to custom forms is problematic (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3358] More

Description

Users may have experienced incorrectly printed documents if the document used custom document form. Printing functionality was redesigned and now supports also custom document forms.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Specifying control=disable does not prevent control on first view (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3543] More

Description

If users specified control=disable command line argument, that argument was not used for the first screen sharing ( control was still enabled ). In second screen sharing control was correctly disabled. Support for disabling control was redesigned and the argument is now applied also for the first screen sharing.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Popup for stopping the session needs formatting (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3590] More

Description

In some cases when long custom application name was set in the customization, end streaming dialog was not styled correctly. Some of the word were not displayed in full. Style of dialog was redesigned, and should be shown correctly even when long application name is set in the customization.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - About dialog with customization includes not customized URL (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3597] More

Description

If users applied customization to help link that link did not redirect to the correct location. Support for custom URL links was redesigned, links should now redirect to the correct location.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Cursor change on desktop duplication driver is not detected (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3608] More

Description

When viewing remote desktop mouse cursor did not change to the one on remote desktop in case there was no additional graphical update. Cursor change was redesigned, cursor will change even if there is no graphical update.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Command line options for remove desktop background and disable effects are not saved (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3673] More

Description

If user applied command line options to ISL Light Desk / Client ( streaming side ) then those arguments were not applied after restart of session ( switching user,  rebooting machine ). Applying command line arguments was redesigned, the arguments are now applied also after restart of session.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Dekstop v3 - Desktop settings window is not embedded in settings windows (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3684] More

Description

Users may have experienced settings being displayed outside Settings windows of ISL Light Desk or ISL Light Client application. The issue only happened if operator performed user switch on remote computer or rebooted the remote machine and then opened settings of ISL Light. Settings were redesigned, entries should no longer be shown outside Settings window.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Light - Desktop v3 - Desktop streaming does not restart after recording and waiting more than 5 seconds to confirm UAC (DEFECT) [ISLLIGHT-3695] More

Description

Desktop streaming failed to start if all the following conditions were true:

- User is streaming own desktop

- User has a customization which includes automatic screen recording

- User has Windows administrator account

- User waited more then 5 seconds to confirm UAC dialog when starting desktop sharing

Desktop plugin was redesigned and even if user waits for more than 5 seconds to confirm the UAC dialog, desktop streaming will start.

The defect was fixed.
