ISL AlwaysOn Installation

To access your remote computers from your ISL AlwaysOn remote computers list you will first need to import those computers into RDM. You can do that by importing computers one by one or you can do the bulk import, importing more computers at the same time.

To import one computer, you can follow the same “New Entry” procedure as above, but make sure to set the mode to “Remote Access (Connect to ISL AlwaysOn computer)”. A new entry will also show up in the “Navigation” menu under “Local Data Source”.

Bulk import using the “ISL AlwaysOn” add-on is described below.

Step 1

Start Remote Desktop Manager go to “File” and select “Import”. Under “Sessions” select  “ISL AlwaysOn”.

Step 2

Use your account username and password to log in. If you are a Server License user, insert your ISL Conference Proxy server address.

Step 3

Mark the remote computers you want to import and click “Finish”. You can add one or more computers.

Step 4

To import computers, select your computers once more and click “OK”.

Step 5

Added computers are located under “Local Data Source” in the Navigation panel. Select the computer you would like to connect to, select “Open Session”, and type the remote computer password.

Step 6

To avoid typing the password every time you need to connect, you can edit each entry by selecting “Properties”.

Step 7

Select proper remote computer, type password and uncheck the “Always ask for computer password” box.
